best way to transfer my files from xp to vista machine. I've heard of a cable. which is best. thanks in advance

A cable? I've always used tcpip . A nul ethernet cable is all that is required.

how does the usb to usb work. is it a simple usb to usb cable with 2 male ends. Will the vista computer recognize and see the other computer.
