I know I'm going to catch sh*t for this, but for new school rock/grunge whatever you wanna call it, I gotta throw Tre Cool from Green Day in the mix. I like his style!
no way man, his simplistic heavy and very difficult beats are very underrated, i wanted to say him but was also scared to get slagged, good for you, good for him.

i think drumming has to come down to style of music, for hard rock i like moon, bonham, for sure. and i think that charlie watts has to be mentioned here aswell. but what about the drummers of today, thrash metal has to be dave lombardo from slayer, and i like donny paycheck from zeke for punk!!!
