When ever I see a thread like this, I am moved. Very moved. We lost our daughter in January 2007 at the age of 28. I lost my dad in 1995. He was 78. Doesn't matter about the age difference. The loss you experience is the same. Daddy lived 50 more years than Heather did, and I'm grateful for that. But when ever you lose someone who is dear to you, no matter who it is, you feel like part of you has gone too. At least I do. May God Bless all of our dear ones who have moved on.

WOW!!! Jerry those were very beautiful words for your dad. Yes you are right he is watching over you and all the people he loves. It was a very beautiful thing this even of the special birthday. I know by hear that he was very happy and filled with joy seeing the people he loved still remembering him and having this special place in your hearts that would never be forgotten. Seeing the way you are so special and loving and caring makes me see through you how you father was and how proud of you he still is of you.
