Here's pics of my Viewsat PVR 7000 . My favorite receiver by far I am really into the PVR and with some cooling methods ( laptop cooling pad and a PC fan) help cool things down . I thought when the new bin with the "sleep" mode came out I could do away with these external fans but after unplugging them for a few hours things heated up real fast. THe ird still generates heat when its active, also the HDD's we can get at CompUsa and Best Buy arent primarily for Television recording, so they dont run as cool or quiet , heres mine see what you think.
