hey guys i got a used gps and its a myguide gps myguide.com and the last update on it was in 2006 i need to update the canadian maps on it but i cant find them no where could even from the web site do you goes know where i could get a upgrade or if i could used a map from another gps?

hi i did go there before i even e-mail them they wanted me to ship the unit from canada to the states for the upgrade and theres alot of fees and from what they told me they did not have a new update for canada maps the last one was 2006 do you know if i could download maps from another gps unit to my own?

For the unit you have specifically, I don't know if the maps are proprietary or not. Most gps units have their own software, and don't share maps with each other. That's how they make a living :)

What maps do you have currently. Are they from the Destinator set?

the last update was 2006 and thats all i know and that i cant find update maps for it
