First things first hope everyone is having a good pre holiday. It's been awhile since I've made a posting so here goes. I have had this dvr recorder almost 3 years now and haven't figured out how to do fast dubbing. I have 4 different recording from hdd to dvd settings at which none is fast dubbing which means that I have to watch the whole movie well it records. Apparently it can be done but atlas I can't figure this out. Maybe its the way I am recording it, don't know so if someone else has figured this out could you please respond back with the steps on how do acomplish this task. Thanks ahead of time, also couldn't figure where to place this post because there is nothing about dvd recorders.

i don't know that a dvr is set for 'high speed dubbing.' what i'm thinking is that you need some sort of external hard drive to record in to, then take the recorded file and transfer it to wherever you need. i say an external hard drive because this is where you might want to keep your recorded material stored. it's also going to be easier for you to transfer on to a disc if you desire that as well.
