sounds like its a converter for your computer. You probably have to convert it on the computer, then upload the new workable video file to the Wii.

well i think the wii would have to be hacked. once it is, you can get stuff to it by loading it on the memory card

Wii has a better job to do,Really !

some people have digital copies of things that the dont want to wast money on a dvd to play it and buy the software to burn dvds beside s its beter yatching it on my projector than my 19 inch monitor

Cant play dvd's on the wii..
The program mentioned converts movies on your computer into a format the wii recognises, and will play in the photo channel.

The wii has been hacked, all kinds of stuff works.

Sweet. In your experience, does it play AVI files or just MPEG4?

Plays both well.

I usually have divx movies and so far, it's read everything.

If your wii is moded you have free dvd player that you load trough wad / homebrew channel and its working BUT

DONT PLAY DVD IN YOUR WII, ITS NOT MEANT TO TURN ALL THE TIME

you will shorten your drive life!


Also the video9 converter is working fine, you convert your movie with that on your pc and can play them on your wii put it on sd card and watch it from picture channel!

This is just a conversion program. it converts the movie into mjpeg format which is readable by the wii and you put it on an sd card and go to the photo channel to use it
