I just recently started downloading a video that is separated into 7 .rar files through some links I have for rapidshare.

the problem is, I can only download 1 per 2-3 hours and they keep track of the IP address you use.

Does anyone know of some sort of proxy I can use to try and get around this?

I know nothing about proxy servers, so a little reluctant to just go searching google and using random stuff....

Look in torrents for Annonymos IP. That works for me. Personally I would rather get video files through the many many torrent sites that are out there.

well the thing is that I am getting 80-120 kpbs download speeds off this method, so as long as I can lick the download restriction of 1 file per 2-3 hours I'm thinking this will be the fastest way.

On some of my favorite sites (I'm on cable connection) I can get up to 700 kbps speed. All you have to do to get the up to date files that are posted is keep a good share ratio or donate a little. Sorry it is spelt Anonymous. Sometimes I type things too fast before I see what I'm typing. Try this too (Anonymous Proxy List Verifier). I'm sure its out there on some torrent sites. The one I found it on you can't join right now as it is full. Bitsoup.
